2016 Schedule

Our 2016 schedule of practice matches, clinics and matches are now listed on the Calendar page.  Make sure you add them to your calendar for 2016!

December Elections:  Congratulations to our new president/sheriff James Earl Dalton (JED), aka Martin Baker.  Other officers remain the same except Chili Cowboy (Ralph Hill) is now the Deputy Sheriff, and Sassy Susie Q is still Scribe/Banker.  As JED is not real computer savvy, Sassy Susie Q will continue with many of the e-mail communications.

December Year End High Points Results:  Chili Cowboy-overall, and Half Cocked Cayuse-reserve men’s overall.  Firefox-ladies overall, and Wildkat Karson, reserve ladies overall.

Unrewarded Workers – Our shooting matches could not be held without all the hard work of many people:  Jack Diamond-arena work, Painted Lady-Range Director, Judy Menke and Wildkat Karson in the crows nest, just to name a few.  We are grateful to so many more who put forth such hard work and effort.

EOT 2015 - Congratulations to Bam Bam (Bret Morgan) and Canyon Cowgirl (Celia Boyd) who captured the Mens and Ladies Overall titles at End of Trail in June

Buffalo Stampede 2015 - Congratulations to El What (Robert Barnard) and Aneeda Huginkiss (Wanda Martin), who captured the Mens and Ladies Overall titles at Buffalo Stampede!  See the Buffalo Stampede page for a link to the results for all classes.

Who We Are

The BRR Mounted is A SASS-Affiliated Cowboy Mounted Shooting club.  You must be a member of SASS to join the BRR Mounted.   SASS stands for Single Action Shooting Society and you can find out more about SASS by clicking here.   Our headquarters is at Founders Ranch in Edgewood.

The BRR Mounted club has been around since 2005, but became an independent club operated separately from SASS in 2011.  If you have a hankerin' for more information, want to see a practice, match, demo or participate in a clinic, or have questions about us,  contact the BRR Mounted Sheriff, Deputy or Territorial Governor.  Go to  the Contact page here for information on how to get aholt of one o' them rascals.  You can also read our FAQ page for more information.  Take a gander at our Calendar page to see when we have new rider clinics a comin' up or come out to watch one of our matches.

BRR Mounted members share a common goal of preserving our American Western culture through the enjoyment and pursuit of Cowboy Mounted Shooting and its living cultural lifestyle.  We'd be happy as a weasel in a henhouse to have you join us!
